[Proposal] The Five Proposals from PEACEMOMO Welcoming 2018 Inter-Korean Summit

We welcome 2018 Inter-Korean Summit and Panmunjeom Declaration of April 27. The Declaration announcing denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, halt of all hostile acts against each other, and commitment for gradual disarmament was truly welcome because it well reflected the longtime voices of the citizens and civil society organizations. We see that stopping all hostile acts against each other is tantamount to gradually closing down the era of national security by force. Spring has come in Korea by individuals holding candlelight for justice and democracy. The true movement of peace building will start from now. In this regard, PEACEMOMO makes the following proposals for the start of real peace building.
